Avg Conf (Average Confidence) is the average number of confidence points players assign to a team when they pick it. Avg Conf Fav is for the favorite and Avg Conf Dog is for the underdog. For example, based on Tuesday’s data, players who picked Dallas this week are putting 10.3 points on them on average. It shows how strongly the public is backing each side.

Think of the $ Score as a value indicator, the higher the number, the better the value. It points you toward teams that have a good chance of winning but that most people aren’t picking, which is exactly what gives you an edge over the rest of the pool.

Bright green = higher risk pick, dark green = safer pick. Dark green teams have a higher win probability; bright green ones are lower-probability but much less picked by the public, so they’re the riskier, more contrarian option.

We usually release the preliminary picks on Tuesday, followed by the updated picks on Wednesday for the Thursday game and for those who prefer to lock in early. Then, we send out the Friday update for anyone who wants to make changes as the games get closer. The Friday update is generally considered the final one before the games begin.
